Dr. David Ensley

Dr. Ensley graduated with Honors from the University of Georgia and earned his Doctor of Dental Medicine from the Medical College of Georgia. He went on to serve for 7 years with the US Army, completing a 1 year Advanced Education in General Dentistry residency and then receiving his orthodontic specialty training from the Tri-Service Orthodontic Residency Program in San Antonio, Texas. After graduation, he completed his written and oral board certification, becoming a Diplomate of the American Board of Orthodontics—a distinction achieved by less than half of all orthodontists.

Dr. Ensley understands what it’s like to have a smile you don’t like, because he had crooked teeth as a kid. After an orthodontist straightened his teeth, giving him a new smile and confidence, he knew he wanted to do the same for other people. He is passionate about blending the artistry of sculpting smiles with the precision and science of creating healthy bites.

When Dr. Ensley is not moving teeth, he is usually spending time with his family—his lovely wife, Mary, and four rambunctious but adorable children Laura, Daniel, Nathan and Kathryn. As a father, he knows how busy it can be taking care of kids, so he is committed to providing you an excellent braces experience through efficient, caring, and comfortable treatment.
